A friendly house cat has been found with a screwdriver protruding from its head after it was brutally attacked by an animal abuser.
The animal abuser has been condemned for holding down a friendly cat then ramming a screwdriver into its skull.
Samantha Pastor’s ginger tabby cat Tito was attacked as it was being cared for by a sitter at her home in Pasadena, Texas last month.
The sitter let Tito out of the house briefly, and was appalled to discover the kitty staggering home an hour later with the tool protruding from his head.
Tito was rushed to an animal hospital where, despite the severity of his injury, he was successfully treated, report’s Metro news.
The abused cat is now set to make a full recovery.
Pastor told KTRK that the abuse had left her badly shaken, and fearful of who her neighbors were.
She said: ‘Who would do something like that? A sick individual.
‘It’s scary to think evil is lurking that close to home.
‘I can’t let him outside. I’m afraid if I let him out he may not come back.
‘Or worse, I have two small kids. I have two dogs.
‘Are we really safe with someone walking around doing something like that to an animal?’
