What started as birthday merriment ended in brutal fisticuffs after two men got drunk and began a quarrel over e-cigarette.
It was Lisa Keegan 50th birthday party but it turned a family brawl after a row over an e-cig.
Trouble began when Lisa was enjoying the celebrations when suddenly, pal Adam, 40, snatched the smoking substitute from a teen.
Her daughter’s boyfriend Tony, 52, then came to the boy’s aid and as his intervention escalated the row.
Dramatic footage shows the two men drunkenly grappling on the ground as they exchanged blows.
Birthday girl Lisa then wades in to separate the pair – only for Tony to accidentally swing punches towards her.
She can be heard shouting “no, you’re battering me” before daughter Colleen Jarvis topples over a chair.
Lisa who was fuming over the brawl but she manages to break the brawling yobs up but enraged The footage continues as Tony then grabs a chair to brandish at his rival.
Lancashire Police eventually arrived to stop the mayhem, reports Scottish Sun.
Lisa has now joked the brawl was like something from hit show Shameless.
She said: “You’re only 50 once and this is certainly a birthday I’ll never forget! It was mayhem.
Tony has since confirmed he made up with Adam at the end of the night after being given a lift home by cops.
He said: “It’s funny to watch back. My girlfriend was falling over, Lisa was shouting and yelling, Everyone’s falling all over the place.
“Adam was being cocky, but we were all p**sed up. It was more funny than anything else. He’s not my mate but I know him. He’s a nice lad.”
Adam has also spoken out and he disclosed that the party was the first time he had drunk alcohol in five years.
He said he hasn’t watched the video but is glad it has raised a few laughs.
Adam added: “I didn’t mean any ill intentions. And we had a laugh and a joke about it later on. It was more a drunken mess than anything else.”
