A 20-year-old mum has died after she suffered a fatal electric shock when she put her hand into a washing machine, thinking her load had finished.
Viviane Rodrigues was putting on a wash at her home in Juazeiro, north-east Brazil, last week when the incident occurred.
As she put her hand in the machine it was still running, to retrieve some items of clothing she suffered a massive shock which led to her death, according to investigators.

Viviane’s husband rushed her to the local hospital emergency unit, but sadly the mother of a nine-month-old son was declared dead on arrival.
Following an autopsy, her body was taken to the rural community of Gameleira do Di in the municipality of Campo Formoso, where her family lives, reports Irish Mirror.
She was buried in Gameleira do Di on 16th June. She leaves behind a husband and a baby son.

That doesn’t sound right because everybody knows that the front load washing machines you cannot open the doors unless they are completely finished so explain to me how she suffer a massive electric shock that led to her death that don’t make no type of sense to me and whoever did the investigation botched the investigation ain’t no way that 20 year old died from that front load washing machine ain’t no way possible

I was thinking same thing mine says locked with a red light key on showing its locked till its completely over an its done then it clicks to off an ready for me to open so yeah they need to reopen that case
I have a Kenmore front loader and my washer can be paused and I can then open the door.
My dryer is stacked on top of washer. Love this model. I live in a condo and the set fits ina double wide closet. I hope they keep these in-stock

I have a front loader washer from Kenmore. It has a pause button that allows me to stop the washer. I can then add more clothes if needed. Love this machine
I am shocked ,how did she manage to open before it was done washing ,the only way to open the loader is if someone pauses it but just opening direct is not adding up,they should investgate more
