Women in Anambra Village Use Machetes and Coconut to Engage in ‘Violent Prophetic’ Pray for Peace in their Community

Watch as the Women in a village in Igbariam, Anambra State, engage in ‘prophetic’ prayer using machete and coconut to bring peace to their community. The women who are members of the Umuada in their community said there was so much unrest in their place they engaged in symbolic violent prayer by using machetes to smash coconut which symbolizes the destruction of unrest in the land.

In the video one of the women could be heard quarreling with the man recording the prayer asking him to stop but he insisted.
