Househelp allegedly burnt with hot iron and left with injuries by her male boss for riding his kids’ bicycle (Graphic video)

Police in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria have arrested a man for allegedly burning his 12-year-old househelp with hot iron for riding his children’s bicycle.

The househelp had accused her male boss of burning and leaving her with injuries by for allegedly spoiling his kids’ bicycle.

Local media reports have it that the accused had warned the girl not to ride his children’s bicycle but he got infuriated when he returned home to find the girl riding one of the bicycles.

He then took the girl and burnt her body with hot iron as punishment for disobeying him.

It was when the girl went to school the next day that people saw the injuries on the girl’s body and alerted police.

The police then swung into action and arrested the accused.

The victim identified her bosses as Uzoma and Njideka and also revealed that they live at World Bank area, Owerri, in Imo state.

The girl also revealed that she’s been living with the couple for two years.
