This is really more than a puzzle to smart police officers.
An artist taking a stroll on a beach was horrified to find a brain wrapped up in tin foil which washed up on the beach.
Jimmy Senda, a local artist who takes a stroll on the beach each morning and makes sculptures with the interesting items he finds, made the grizzly discovery, reports Daily Star.
He found the brain on Samuel Myers Park Beach, in Racine, Wisconsin, US, after spotting a square package held together by a pink elastic band.
Mr Senda says curiosity “got the better of him” and so he unwrapped the package and discovered what looks like a human brain inside.
“I don’t really know how to explain it, it didn’t register… I was just like, ‘What is this?'” Mr Senda told FOX10 News.
“I came across this square package, wrapped in aluminium foil, and around it, it had a pink rubber band.
“Curiosity got to me, so I popped it open and it looked like a chicken breast – kind of. It took a little bit for it to really [register] of what was going on; it was a brain.”
Flowers and what appears to be paper with Mandarin characters printed on it were also found inside the package with the suspected brain.
