World Egg Day is a special opportunity to raise awareness on the benefits of eggs. It was introduced by the International Egg Commission in 1996 and its main objective primarily is to boost the consumption of eggs. How many eggs do you really eat in a day, or let’s say, a week? Have you now seen that chicken eggs are special delicacies to humans to the extent that they are celebrated?
Chicken eggs are widely used in many types of dishes, both sweet and savory, including many baked goods. Some of the most common preparation methods include scrambled, fried, hard-boiled, soft-boiled, omelettes and pickled. They can also be eaten raw, though this is not recommended for people who may be especially susceptible to salmonellosis.

Eggs are very beneficial to man. Aside from high cholesterol, eggs are a healthy food. They are high in nutrition, and low in fat. People across the world celebrate eggs on this day.

So how do you intend to eat your own eggs on that day? Or do you have a weird plan to celebrate this special day?
